Kenneth Henry Pruett of Columbia Falls Montana, age 91, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Kalispell MT. He was born in Bliss ID on August 7, 1926 to Henry Barton and Elva Rosella (Stratton) Pruett and was the second to the oldest of 12 children. Ken married Bonnie Maxine Eby on May 13, 1954. Bonnie had 3 children he considered as his own. Together they had 3 children.


Ken is someone we could all strive to be like. He was a very hard working, honest, sensitive WWII Navy veteran and an old cowboy at heart. He was a successful business owner, retired young, and loved to travel. He lived a good life, he knew how to have fun, and he loved his friends and family to the fullest. It was very important to him to keep close contact with everyone he loved. He will be missed by many.


He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Bonnie Rae Trammel, Mykell Winterowd, Teresa (Cory) Hartley, Starla (Mike) Saucier, and Monty (Nonie) Pruett. Ken will also be fondly remembered by his 14 grandchildren, Sonja, Stacy, Stephanie, Schele, Kris, Mark, Miken, Steve, Monty, Amber, Michael, Vanessa, Dan, Michele, Casey. 18 great grandchildren, brothers Jack (Chela), Marvin (Deanna), HB (Rena), and sisters Ramona (Bruce) Lindsey, and Juanita (Lee) Wisdom. He was proceeded in death by his wife Bonnie, brothers Curt, Delbert, Bill, Melvin, sisters Betty Smithson, Lou Johnson, stepson Steve Gillies, and grandson Taylor Saucier.


A funeral service in memory of Ken will be held on Saturday March 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Columbia Falls Mortuary, 1010 4th Ave. W, Columbia Falls. Gathering to follow at the Dew Drop Inn, 10750 Hwy 2, Coram.
