Richard A Faller

Richard “Rick” Allen Faller, age 72, of Columbia Falls, MT passed away May 15, 2023. He was born October 12, 1950 in Armour, SD as one of nine children to the late Edward Allen Faller and Evelyn Marie Faller (Johnson).

Rick proudly served in the Army and was a veteran of the armed forces. After Rick’s military service, he became a skilled welder who took special pride in his work. His business, Rick’s Welding, was the result of that dedication to his craft. In his free time Rick enjoyed mowing his grass, puttering around in his garage, woodworking, and working jigsaw puzzles with his wife Donna. Spending time with his family. He shared a very special bond with his granddaughter Aurora. An avid bargain shopper, Rick was always up for a trip to ANY store. He was not afraid to bargain or negotiate. Whether it be for produce or something from the hardware store.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Donna Jean Faller; son, Jamie Faller and wife Courtney; son, Jason Faller; granddaughter, Aurora Faller; and 5 sisters. In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Rick was a kind, caring, and helpful man. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of Richard Allen Faller’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Columbia Mortuary, 1010 4th Avenue West, Columbia Falls, MT 59912. Family and friends may begin to visit on Tuesday starting at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2200 9th Street West, Columbia Falls, MT 59912.
