Larry Russell Talbott

Larry Russell Talbott, age 81, of Columbia Fall, MT passed away September 12, 2022. He was born March 21, 1941 in Sheridan, MT to the late Samuel Wilfred Talbott and Estella Mae Talbott (Staten).

Larry was an outdoorsman, living his best life outside in both Montana and Alaska for nearly 27 years. Some of his hobbies included fishing, hunting, trapping, arrowhead hunting, and 4-wheeling. Larry was a builder and a carpenter. He loved to tinker. Larry knew wildlife and was an advocate for history and geography. He was also an avid reader. He enjoyed old country classics, mountain men movies and shows, and being the family jokester. Larry had many different things he did for work including, driving cement trucks, security guide, and working on the railroads. He was a man of faith and a member of St. Richard Catholic Church.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Monica Talbott; son, Rusty Talbott (Ava); daughter, Julie Loder (Gene); son, Todd Talbott (Janet); son, Mike Crawford (Brenda); 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by daughter, Lori Rae Williams; and son, Phillip Crawford.
