Kris Donald Zeier

Kris Donald (Animal) Zeier, age 65, of Kalispell, MT passed away November 1, 2022. He was born May 11, 1957 in Anaconda, Montana to Roberta Barnhart (Mitchell) and the late Donald Zeier.

Kris was an outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting and camping. Kris was also a collector of guns. He had a passion for the baseball and softball diamond, where he umpired for many years throughout the valley. Kris was a man of faith.

Kris is survived by his mother, Roberta Barnhart; stepmother Eufemia Zeier, brother, Scott Zeier (Vickie); stepsisters Gayle Barnhart Reeves, Vicki Barnhart Eggen (Roger); Nieces Hollie Zeier (Sara) and Lindsey Zeier Thomas (Jedediah) and other numerous nieces and nephews; Great nieces Sloane Thomas, Saige Thomas and Charlotte Zeier, and other numerous great nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. In addition to his father, Kris is preceded in death by stepfather Oren Barnhart; stepsister Verlaine Barnhart VanAtta; maternal grandparents, Robert & Berta Mitchell; and paternal grandparents, Ed and Fran Zeier, and numerous Uncles & Aunts.

A celebration of Kris Donald (Animal) Zeier’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Journey Church, 5091 US-2, Columbia Falls, MT 59912.
