Karen J. Mensik, age 74, of Columbia Falls, MT passed away December 25, 2022. She was born March 27, 1948 in Chewelah, WA to the late Elton Rodenbough and Winnifred Rodenbough (Buchanon).
Karen was a sweet, gentle and giving soul. She was the glue that kept the family together and hosted many family gatherings at her home. Karen was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and decorating. Some of her hobbies included crafting, sewing, bingo, and listening to country music. Karen was a Christian. Her favorite movie was Top Gun. She was an avid follower of the Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball team. She will always be remembered for her potato and macaroni salad along with her edible Christmas Wreaths during the holidays.
Karen is survived by son, Dev Stutsman (Bonnie); daughter, Becky McDowell; son, Shane Mensik (Kim); daughter, Melanie Smith (Donnie); daughter, Beth Countryman (Junior); son, James Mensik; 8 granchildren: Jerry, Anthony, Jackie, Bambie, Amanda, Hana, Madeline, and Ellie; several great-grandchildren; sister, Lavonne; and brother, Wayne Rodenbough. In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by husband, Robert Mensik; and brother, Deloss Rodenbough.
