Julie Ann Plevel, Columbia Falls, MT embarked on January 13th, 2020 at the age of 65 in her home, surrounded by her loved ones, after a heroic 7 year battle against cancer.
Originally from Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe, California, Patrick and Julie moved to the Flathead Valley 28 years ago. After moving to Columbia Falls, MT. Julie became a real estate agent at Columbia Falls Realty before ultimately becoming a broker/co-owner of RE/MAX Mountain View in Columbia Falls. Her clients became fast friends and she was a mentor to many including her daughter, Jesse Plevel who now works in the same building that Julie and Patrick helped remodel into the office it is today. Civic duty was important to Julie as she spent 10 years on the Columbia Falls city council and worked diligently in establishing Rivers Edge Park.
She had a passion for travel and adventure, spending many miles alongside her husband Patrick Plevel traversing the United States in search of gold nuggets and cups of campfire coffee. Always accompanied by her four legged friends, Julie loved horses and dogs especially.
Ever ready with a paint brush, Julie enjoyed making art in her later years, finding unique pieces of wood on their journeys to later paint and share with the family.
Preceded in death by her parents Loman Eugene Faulkner and Marjorie Wade and In-laws Micheal Plevel and Mildred Plevel. She is survived by her faithful Husband Patrick, her oldest son Aaron Plevel (Lauren Plevel), her middle daughter Jesse Plevel (Brian Hall), and her youngest son Russell Plevel, all of Columbia Falls, MT. She is also survived by her sister Lisa Wright (Bill Wright) of Las Vegas. She has 5 beautiful grandchildren to watch over, Gabe Plevel, Elise Plevel, Woodrow Plevel, Jasper Hall, and Mildred Hall.
We ask any and all who wish to attend to meet us at Cedar Creek Lodge on Sunday, January 19th between 2-4 pm for a memorial celebration. Dress colorfully, bring smiles and hugs and any anecdotes you wish to share in celebrating her beautiful life.
