James Eugene Love

James “Jim” Eugene Love, age 85, of Swan Lake, MT passed away Jul 15, 2022. He was born November 19, 1937 in Billings, MT to the late Thomas Napoleon Love and Carolyn Lucie Love (Tareo).

Jim was a retired Sergeant in the Kalispell Police Department. He also served in the Army. Some of Jim’s hobbies included, hunting, fly fishing, and woodworking. He had a passion for yard maintenance as well, and kept the yard looking immaculate. Jim was a man of faith and attended Swan Lake Church.

Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret Love; daughter, Paulette Estey (Dan); son, Monte Love (Cindy); son, Tony Love (Paulette); 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters: Carol and Sharon; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by daughter, Holly Brown and 6 brothers.
