Edwin "Ed" J.

Olson, 63, passed away on September 27, 2019 surrounded by his family after a quick diagnoses of heart failure.
Ed was born October 21, 1955 in Whitefish, Montana to Clarence and Bessie(Stoner) Olson. He was the youngest of 4 children.
Ed worked as a logger for many different logging operations in the Valley including American Timber in Olney until the fall in the timber industry. He loved being in the woods and being a logger.
Ed met the love of his life, RaeAnn Schloz and have been happily married for 45 years. They raised two girls, Tawnia Jo and Trina Rae.
Ed enjoyed coaching Trina at softball for 9 years and loved the game. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, and especially playing with his 5 grandchildren.
Ed is preceded in death by both of his parents, grandson Baby Jax, and his brother in law Dan.
Ed is survived by his wife RaeAnn, daughters Tawnia(Jason) Williamson and Trina(Jake) Simpson, grandchildren Jessica, Jayden, and Josh Williamson and Bailey and Parker Simpson. Ed is also survived by his siblings Carolyn, Ron, and Jerry and their spouses, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Per Ed's wishes no formal services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Austin Funeral and Cremation Services in Whitefish is caring for Ed's family.
