March 28, 2006 ~ May 20, 2021 (age 15) 15 Years Old

Tribute

Brooke Lynn Hanson
2006-2021
Our family sadly lost a daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt and friend on May 20, 2021 at the young age of 15. Brooke, also known by close family and friends as Brooke Trout, was unexpectedly taken from us while on her way to a fishing hole, rod in hand.
Brooke was born in Kalispell, MT on March 28, 2006 to parents Mike and Jessie Hanson. Growing up in Columbia Falls, she was active in sports, 4-H shooting, and loved to attend events such as the local rodeo series. Also, on her list of enjoyments was camping, boating, and taking out her paddleboard. Mostly, Brooke liked to go fishing with her family on late summer nights and to spend time with her close friend, Alizia, who she loved dearly.
As a young teenager full of personality and love in her heart, Brooke was a light in everyone’s life she was a part of. Whether you knew her for years, or just a short time, her presence made a difference. Brooke was an incredible piece of all our lives, that will be terribly missed.
Proceeded in death by her Uncle Jason, Grandpa Jim, and Great Grandparents.
Brooke is survived by her parents, Mike and Jessie; sisters Ashley Thompson, Maraika and Mandy Hanson; brother Mason Hanson, nephews Colten and Wyatt, and niece Melia. Also, surviving are grandparents, Jerry and Rita Hanson of Whitefish, and Kathy Morrow of Phoenix, as well as Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Morgan Hanson. Memorial services for Brooke will be at Bible Baptist Church 63 Dove Lane in Kalispell, MT 11am on Saturday May 29th with a potluck lunch to follow services.
